Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 31 Boelcke at Nörvenich
In March 2017 I was invited to the air base of the Luftwaffe and the Traditionsgemeinschaft Oswald Boelcke to show a preview of the Boelcke documentary. Next to seeing the Eurofighters of this unit, even in action, it would proof to become an unforgettable day as I was able to see one of the original family albums of Hauptmann Boelcke and to use the material for the upcoming documentary on the father of aerial combat tactics. The English version will be made with the co-operation of RG Head, and a German version will also be made with Henz-Michael Raby. Plans are to have the docu ready by the 101st anniversary of the death of the famous ace.
